Location
The Sussex Flower School is based on the outskirts of the rural East Sussex village of Blackboys.
The school is housed in a converted cow shed with high ceilings and lots of light with its own cutting garden… We moved here in Summer 2020 from the previous location where we had been for nearly ten years.
There is ample, free parking and good disabled access if required.
What do I need to bring with me?
Not much! We provide all the refreshments… home made cake, fresh coffee, Pukka herbal teas, tools, aprons, pens, paper… and anything else you may need*.
Lunch is NOT provided so please bring your own- we will have a break.
*FLOWER THERAPY -this is the only course where you need to bring your own materials.
Is there Wifi?
Yes, there is free Wifi at the school and the mobile signal is fine. We also have a landline for emergency calls.

Nearest train station: Uckfield – with hourly trains to London Bridge. There are taxis at the station which take about 10 minutes to the school.
From Eastbourne direction take the A22 to the Halland roundabout. Turn right by Halland Forge onto the B2192 towards Blackboys and Heathfield. Continue for about three miles then go past The Blackboys Inn on your left. Go past the turning B2102 to Framfield and Uckfield on your left. Brownings Farm Workshops are the next on the right. There is a grey sign that says ‘Brownings Farm Workshops and Cafe’. As you drive in the school is on your right behind the brick wall.
From Heathfield direction… take the B2192 via Cross in Hand. Immediately after the 50 mph/Blackboys sign turn left into Brownings Farm Workshops. There is a grey sign that says ‘Brownings Farm Workshops and Cafe’. As you drive in the school is on your right behind the brick wall.
From Brighton and Lewes take the B2192 to Ringmer and then the Halland roundabout. Go straight on towards Blackboys . After passing The Blackboys Inn and the turning to B2102 Framfield and Uckfield on your left the turning to Brownings Farm Workshops is on your right. There is a grey sign that says ‘Brownings Farm Workshops and Cafe’.As you drive in the school is on your right behind the brick wall.
