As the world of eco floristry develops more florists are needing to learn the skill of  (properly!) creating a willow base for their designs. On this course you will learn directly from the grower, Hannah from Branch Out, herself – the willow whips provided are Sussex grown and also available to buy wholesale so you can offer the bases throughout the year -either by creating them yourself -as you will learn- or by buying ready made bases.

In floristry these are often then mossed and used in the same way as the metal wreath rings or used as a visible, decorative base for other designs.

A long morning course with all materials provided. You will learn all about how the willow is grown sustainably, when and how it is harvested, how to use/store it correctly… and much more.

You will each make and take home two wreaths -one could be a heart shape if you wished?

You do not need any experience for this course and you will leave with a fully compostable base and a new skill..and the contacts necessary to create/buy all year so you can safely offer these to your clients.
