A chance to spend the day immersed in the fabulous world of a flower farmer.

Vicky runs Sidnye Flower Farm near Cuckfield, East Sussex and has invited us to visit her farm…during peak Dahlia season…

We will meet at the farm (address below) at 10am and Vicky will show us round, talking about what she grows and how it all works as a business. There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions. There will be refreshments in her new barn and also the opportunity to cut and buy your own flowers (please bring snippers and a bucket).

At about 11.30 we will leave and make our way to The Cowdray Arms  for lunch. I have arranged with the pub that you will each be able to go up to the bar and pay individually -no horrible splitting the bill!

At about 1.30 we will leave and drive up to the fabulous Withypitts Dahlias in Turners Hill (address below) . Here Richard will show us around his huge field of Dahlias. There will also be an opportunity to buy here.

The day will finish at about 3.30pm.

Please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Please message if you’d like me to try and coordinate cars. Please bring cash in case the farmers don’t have a card machine!
