A half day course to inspire you to try different, economical yet stylish ideas with your flowers. First we will talk about where to source your flowers including learning all about the British Flower farmers, then how to care for them to make them last as long as possible. I will demonstrate an arrangement that will give you a failsafe recipe to take shopping with you…

We will also cover the ‘overwhelm’; that can happen when faced with the selection in a supermarket, we will ‘dissect the display’ looking at colour, form, foliage and vase shapes and sizes…

You will then learn how to create a lovely domestic vase (using a ‘grid’)  so you can always have beautiful arrangements in your home. The vase is yours to keep.

The aim is to give you confidence to start experimenting with flowers with confidence.

Course includes all materials and refreshments.

Of course, you are able to take your creations, and vase, home with you.
