The History of Floristry – online lectures- 1st -30th Sept ’24
Suitable for anyone with access to Facebook
Autumn – that amazing season of mists and warmth and overflowing hedgerows… is coming…and rather than seeing it as the beginning of Winter it’s time to celebrate it in its own right..
So, on this short day course you will create a fabulous design to welcome the new season.
First we will discuss all the various Eco (no foam/no plastic) techniques that are available to us. We will create a door or table wreath (your choice) on a mossed (made by you) base. We will decorate it with Autumnal materials like rosehips, hydrangea heads, turning leaves, pheasant feathers mosses and flowers such as Dahlias, Chrysanthemums and seedpods… The end result will last much longer than if there were just flowers..
The design you create could also be used as a biodegradable funeral tribute.
A fabulous alternative to more standard designs that also teaches you all things Eco Floristry..
All materials are included as is coffee and cake.
