Dahlias are my favourites. Blousy, bold, generous and varied- I grow loads here at the school which we will use supplemented by Sussex grown Dahlias from various flower farms.

Firstly I will teach you everything you need to know about sourcing, potting up, growing, supporting, feeding and cutting. We will walk around the Dahlia beds here to see what I do in real life. I will explain where and when to buy and the difference between a dinner plate, a waterlily and a pompon….(and many more!)…

Next we will create a large hand tied bouquet using Dahlias as the main flowers mixed with other seasonal flowers and foliage. We will then wrap this up beautifully.

All materials, refreshments and cake are provided and you each go home with your hand tied bouquet.
